My Boudoir Photography Experience in Orlando

Last month I went to a friend’s wedding in Orlando, Florida. My husband couldn’t get the time off from work, so I left the kiddos with my sister for the weekend and flew out.

The maid of honor, Jenny, planned an elaborate bachelorette party for all of us in the bridal party. There were 7 of us total including the bride. One of the ladies in the bridal party also runs the Orlando Moms Blog “Sincerely Mrs. Mommy.” It was so good to meet a fellow mommy blogger. She has also done a photo shoot with the boudoir photographer that was hired for this event.

We got the day started with shopping at the local mall. Then we had lunch at little Mexican restaurant. We drove over to Cocoa Beach and laid out for a few hours. After that, it was time for dinner.

After dinner we hit a few dance clubs in Orlando for some drinks. We stopped for a few bottles of wine to finish off the evening back at the hotel. That’s when Jenny the maid of honor let us know about the big surprise she had planned for all of us. She hired a local boudoir photographer to do all of our photos. Jenny is also a makeup artist, so she started doing our makeup and hair before the photographer arrived.

The photographer Jenny hired for us was named Michael Jones. He’s an Orlando boudoir photographer that owns a company called Sin Boudoir. The plan was for each of us to do about 30 minutes with the photographer.

Anyway, we each did our turn with Michael, and we really enjoyed it. We all loved our photos, especially me! I have always wanted to do a boudoir shoot so this was a great opportunity. Michael was really easy to work with and took some really great photos. I was able to order a photo album from Michael too, as Jenny only paid for our sessions. But totally worth it. I’m saving the photo album to give to my hubby for his birthday in a few weeks!

Here’s a pic from my session!
